DM-3000 Validated in three separate functions:-

• Ausculltatory function as direct replacement for Mercury
  
  
• Ausculltatory function, Blinded Version. The operator uses the device with the column blinded. The record button is pressed for the Systolic event and again for the Diastolic event at which time the column will illuminate to show the recorded values. This methodology allows the Operator to concentrate solely on the sounds without the need to observe the visual column. The result will be more accurate because this method avoids operator digit preference selection and digit rounding.
  
  
• Oscillometric function. The device can be switched to be used in an automatic oscillometric mode.
